Dr. Gail Stocks is the founder and principal of EZ Way To Stay in Montclair, NJ and was selected as NAHB Educator of the Year. She is an occupational therapist and accessibility specialist with a Post-Professional Doctorate in OT from Touro University and a Master's degree from NYU. She has decades of experience working with clients across the spectrum of ages and abilities. Gail has been designated a Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) through the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) and is an approved instructor by NAHB for their CAPS and Universal Design Essentials Courses. She received her Executive Certificate in Home Modification administered by the National Resource Center on Supportive Housing and Home Modification from the University of Southern California Leonard Davis School of Gerontology Gail is a proud member of the American Occupational Therapy Association with a designation in Home Modifications, the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy with a designation in pediatrics, and the Home Modification Occupational Therapy Alliance. She is a volunteer and logistics coordinator for Rebuilding Together North Jersey, and volunteers for AARP as their Lead NJ Presenter for HomeFit as well as a member of their Speakers Bureau. Gail has created a home study course about home modifications available at HomeCEU and has been published in the June 2019 issue of Occupational Therapy Practice Magazine. She is an adjunct professor and guest lecturer in the Occupational Therapy departments of several universities and is available for consultation work and speaking engagements through virtual and in-person formats.
